But in the meantime, we had a hot, sticky and decidedly sweaty afternoon clearing some more of the wood that fell during the snows just over 2 weeks ago (crikey, what weird weather that was). We now have enough stockpiled to see us right for 2-3 months next winter. Against nearly every tree we have stacked various lengths of wood that will dry so quickly in the summer heat. We still have more to clear, so I don't think we need have any worries about running short.

My niece and her family live in Cazeres. When my son and I visited last summer, we could see the Pyrenees from her house.
I will come back to visit your blog (if you don't mind) to see what is going on. None of my family blog so I am always happy to see recent pictures of France.
Welcome to my blog, Nadège :-) Pleased you are enjoying the photos of this beautiful area!
What a wonderful view you have from your terrace! Very jealous...
It is stunningly beautiful, yes! Views from both sides of the house are amazing. It's a special environment and the house is for sale!! Know anybody who is looking for a Pyrenean bolt hole, by any chance?
